Rosie grew up in Wiltshire and has recently moved to West Sussex, joining FWAG South East in October 2024.

Gaining a Master’s in Agriculture, Ecology and Environment from the University of Reading, her research project explored the impact of wildflower margins on natural enemy populations and aphid damage in apple orchards in Kent.

Rosie’s previous position as the Sustainability Officer at the floristry business Scarlet & Violet, involved reducing the company’s dependence on imported flowers, improving its packaging and waste, and promoting British flowers in the cut flower industry.  Before this, Rosie worked as an ecologist, focusing mainly on reptiles and bats.
