Meet The FWAG South East Partners
Belinda Bown
Farm Conservation Adviser
Belinda joined FWAG South East in 2020, mainly working on agri-environment schemes, collaborative project trials and facilitating two farmer groups. Previously, she completed an Environmental Science BSc at the University of Nottingham in 2017, focussing on soil health and farmland habitats as a part of her final year dissertation. Since leaving university, Belinda began her career as a Research Assistant for the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust; collecting research data on arable invertebrates, plants, bats and birds, particularly on stewardship field margins. Following this she took up the role of Assistant Farming Advisor for the National Trust’s south east region, working with rangers and farming tenants to promote nature-friendly farming practices.
